Ok since this was our first rave and that we gonna take u on the whole trip just so u can all remember how it was your first time! Got on Train! VeX the silly ass trys setting fire to table!? Hmm....Got off Train at paddington, had loads of time to waste so looked around for a pub, hour later no pubs that weren’t packed or full of old people! Got on tube to king X, then went for drink in kings Cross, ended up skint!! Then phone KEvs mobile to hear him singing a rather Dodgy AWAY MESSAGE of something like "im Not ere im not ere lalalalala". Waited for Him At Smiths, and had totally forgotten what everyone we was meant to be meeting looked like!! 2 Mates run off to look for Kev somewhere outside only for him to suddenly appear in front of me (i hoped) Braved sayin hello to him in the knowledge that if it werent him i was gonna get Hit by some Bloke thinking im takin the piss outta him!! :( Went slammin with Kev, and a BIG group of people only to find when we got to the back of the queue and turned round they had all fucked off!! BASTARD QUEUE JUMPERS!! (let us in next time) Stood in queue and started recognising people we didnt even know liked hardcore from our town! Stood in Queue for an hour so Took LOts of PRo plus and Red bull (We dont do these so called "drugs" ) :-) And nearly fainted, then needed toilet, only to find the queue goes Around the other side of the building too! FFS!! We were then Groped (searched) by the security..ewwww...But we got in and that all that counted, and to be honest I feel safer knowing no one gets in with anythin.. Went straight to toilet...Why is there LOADS of sick in the sink already !?!?!? Went out to the first meet up coz it was 11pm already we had missed Brisk. Met Sasha, Steve, KEv, Andreww, Raver Jo, Joe Retro erm...and some other people sorry i cant remember i was too excited :) Then went into the hardcore room for the first time that night! FUCK MY EARS!!! couldnt actually hear what the songs were or what MC was saying for the first 20 minutes!! till we heard "million miles" dropped by vinylgroover! Tune!! Then we got some water (expensive just a little!!) then we went down to the techno trance room where we went a bit crazy and got on the Video! Wh00p! :)) Sharkey and Energy were playing A blindin Set and to top it off some unknown to me MC was doing some vocal scratchin Storm Style! Nice! Came out after and hour totally deaf as the Speakers in that room are Bascially on top of you!! Then we went to what we thought was the old skool room with i think Jimmy J spinnin tunes like "Don't Go" and "99 Red balloons", but it turned out to be the chill out room!! and we totally ignored the proper old skool room all night! SHIT!! :(( Then went for some more water! Got asked the time by the same bloke EVERY time we passed him!! respect how drunk was he! Decided agaisnt the drinking idea at our first rave due to seeing people practically dieing on the steps!! Then went to second meet up and froze to death without our coats, Said hello to a few people and then went off to follow my mates back into the oven the hardcore room had become with so many ravers in it, kev later accused me of ignoring him when he talked to me but i couldnt hear him! i was deaf!! SORRY KEV!! :)) Drunk more water, listened to more Hardcore, whistles and horns and started really getting into the whistles and having people come up in front of ya, stare at you then start dancing and moving their hands to the sound of your whistle! MAd stuff!! Then we met some girl who we think!! is called Bernie, brianne or soemthing Sorry if your out there reading this!! Who gave us one of them £1 ice pole thingies!! THANK YOU! it was much needed… Bascially we then just danced all night in the hardcore room to Sy and Unknown, Hixxy, Dougal and Force and Styles, everyone complained about Force and Styles set , especially me as i had been saying to my mates all day that F&S set would be soooo predictable being their usual feelin fine, higher ground, paradise and dreams stuff, then they go and make me look stupid! thanx you :)) but i personally didnt mind the stuff they played it was quite good, and the extra space we got due to lots of people leaving was nice as we could now breath!! it was actually so packed earlier in the night that My mate Rich's lighter wouldnt light due to lack of oxygen! Danced more, really started to understand the cool Vibe at hardcore events when some girl just comes up to jody, take his whistle out of his mouth, blows it, puts it back in his mouth and walks off again! And some mad guy holding a beer, come in front of N3m (James) and starts tapping his hand to my whistles and Blowing his in tune, it was like a scratch battle between Sy and Storm but..... with whistles (sounded wicked if u heard it! We got a bit of an audience lol), he later came up and shook my hand Top bloke! :) At the end of the night, just to make it a truly FIRST TIME RAVE! Jody loses his cloakroom ticket!! so we have to wait till the VERY end of the night to get it back, the only way he could distinctievly distinguish (look at the clever raver using big words!) His jacket is by the hot rock burns down the side of it! hmm explain those to the jacket collector :) (fag burns)..eventually left Very Late, erm early..and met Bernice/Bob/Theodore (but we going to raindance with KEv coz we wanna jump the queue with the USH net people). We then walk back having had flyers thrown at us from every direction, and slipped down the sloping floor since everyone had dropped them, having climbed up the road we walk down road still deaf, and have some guy come up to jody, jody answers his question "NO thanx, why would I want Drugs at the end of the rave?" to find out what the bloke actually asked was if he wanted a TAXI...oops! Didnt know how to get home, not helped due to the fact we lost our others mates somewhere :(( so we decided to ask a guard at the station, who when noticing us coming up to him, promptly legged it!! After sitting on a train and finding it werent even the right one, got on the right one and woke up compleltely dead back in maidenhead! got home, went to sleep which is impossible when u have what sounds like a Whistle Crew and Horns crew continually ringing in your ears! All in all A Wicked First Rave, Loved everything bout it! luckily had no problems with security, but We had a wicked time and going to raindance which i hope will be wicked also!! Shout outs to Richard, Stuart, Kev, Sasha, Joe Retro, Raver Jo, Andreww, Steve (DJ Radium i now find out), Brianne (britney, Mark , john still dont know your name sorry we were deaf at the time :(), The girl who blew jodys whistle (not literally), the guy who Shook my hand after are quite wicked Battle Whistling!! (PLEASE BE HEARABLE ON THE TAPES!!), J (We know all about you mate! hehe), Davey McGuire (nice to see you there), Camera man, Charlie B for his egyptian dance which made me laugh my ass off, the MC down in the techno - trance room (who we thought was storm due to the vocal scratchin then saw some skinhead bloke in the hardcore room saying the storm lyrics which totally confused us as to which one was the real man himself!!) and everyone who we bumped into, apologised to, only to find they didnt care and shook yer hand instead!
