Well the flyer had no names on at all, a little message saying ' in the old days people went for the club and not the names, bring back the old days ', or something like that. the playlist was a secret so no one knew who was on. I got there about 11pm and no one was queing outside, so i thought ohh shit. However when I got in the club it was fuckin heaving and the crowd wa well up for it. The Line up had the usual residents, PaulO, CJ Glover, Topgroove and the guests were Sy, Alchemist, Demand, Stu Allan, Marc Smith, Brisk and upstairs Myself < Majestik >, Max, Spinner < who had just had a major operation and passed out on the decks, so he went home. or so i was informed >, Hooley and UHF. When i got in Paul was just finishing what seemed to be a harder set and the crowd were loving it, Up stepped Sy and rocked the place with a classy old skool set. I then had to rush upstairs and jump on the decks due to Spinners problem. jumped on with some full on Freeform and the crowd were loving it. was very suprised as the sets seemed to be more old skool based so I was worried I would lead ballon it. Couldn't believe it the room was full and fuckin rockin, if I say so myself. well pleased < although that sound system is a tad dodgy. could do with some new neeedles. Ended up playing about and hour and half and I would have played longer but I ran out of toons. shame cos the crowd were well up for it < who knows Paul might put me downstairs next time, hint hint >. Back downstairs things were going well, I missed Alchemist, Brisk and Demand but by the look of the crowd they played stormers. Missed Stu Allen due to running around and other things. Completely lost the plot after swallowing something and babbled for fuckin ages to anyone. Upstairs Max was keeping the crowd going with some old skool happy hardcore and Marc Smith was rocking the show downstairs. Up stepped Kenny Sharp and banged out the trance toons with thr crowd were going mental for. one of the most up for it crowds I have seen.
