United States of Hardcore
Wow what a night! This was my 7th rave and it was by far the best. We got there late because of a crash on the M1 so it was 11:45 when we walked in. The security didn't even search us which was weird but I wasn't complaining. As soon as I walked into the hardcore room I heard that familiar stompin' beat that we all love so much. Everybody there was really friendly as usual. Even the usual trouble makers (yes you know where they're from) seemed to behave themselves. I saw loads of familiar faces from Skelter. The best thing about Slammin' is the way that the DJs are always either in the house room or outside. I wandered outside at 3:30 and saw my all time heroes Vibes and Live Lee. I said hello to them both and shook their hands and that really made my night. This was especially good because Live Lee was not down on the flyer so I didn't expect him to be there. The thing that always amazes me about Slammin' is the under age people who are there, especially the girls. I saw one girl who couldn't have been any more than 11. Still, she seemed to have picked up on the vibe and she gave me a big raver's smile as I walked past. I am a little bit disappointed that the next event is at the Sanctuary because I really like Bagley's. I'll see you all on Halloween at Skelter. Keep raving.
