We had to queue for some time but where kept entertained by one of the
bouncers, who spilled off in to a full flow of lyrics when we talked to him.
Once in the place there was the classics cloak room problem with hour q's.
When we had made friends with everyone in the queue and stashed a stuff, we
headed for the main arena and it was BIG. It turned out to be a converted
theatre. The main room had two tears with numerous bars. The tunes took me
off on one right from the start. I made frequent runs from the main room to
the old skool room. I had thought that being oldskool I was in for all the
old Piano Break beats. But no it was a D&B night and I was not to forget.
Saying this it was an outstanding night and really showed me the way that
D&B is going at the mo. Favourite sets The RatPack as always and Bad
Company's industrial dark set. I can say with a straight face that it was
the FATTEST night I have ever been to. The PA held almost every bass line
and the MC's kept flowing. Respect to the group of kids I meet while
queuing 'Rude night' LOVED IT!
