OMFG! :))))) what a fucking brilliant night.

Wasnt too up for the night as I had a harsh day at work, but got to the venue at about 9:30 and had to queue for only about 20 mins. When we got in, Hype had just started his back to back set with Brockie, with Fun and Ic3 on the mics and the venue was already full.

If you havent been to atomics in Maidstone, you should get down there coz it really is a wicked venue. Its about 1500 capacity, the lighting in there is superb, with two multicoloured lasers and loads of other top effects. The sound system is amazing, really loud, and i still have a buzzing in my ear from it now.

Brockie and Hype played a brilliant set that was surprisingly not full of anthems and had some wicked new dark tunes that i havent heard before. Hype as always did some wicked scratching, and ic3 and fun sounded phat as well.

The vibe in the venue was ok, not a hardcore vibe, but it was reasonable all the same, with no real attitude anywhere - people were just there for the music.

After Brockie and Hype was Dj Markee. Not alot of peopel have heard of him, but I have to say he is one of the best DJs in the scene at the moment and the last few sets I have heard from him wre superb. I was really excited about his set, and then shabba suddenly turned up which made the set absolutely fucking mad. Markee did some brilliant scratching and looked like a fucking mentalist up on the stage - markeg stylee. He played a fast rolling set, with some of the latest Digital tunes getting played, like waterhouse dub and deadline. This set was by far set of the night with shabba on the mic as IMO he is the best MC around too. good bit of b2b biznis with fun, ic3 and shabba together. Halfway through this set fearless turned up and ic3 left, which made it al the better, and then fun left and skibba turned up. The three best mcs imo all at once. was fucking briliant.

By now, the venue was fucking rammed and it was quite hard to get around, but I didnt really care coz I just wanted to stay in my spot on the dancefloor for the music.

Next up was shyfx, whos set i was quite looking forward to, but it turned out to be shit and full of anthems so i wandered off around the venue for a look around. I went upstairs into the garage room, expecting it to be rude and I couldnt help but burst out laughing. The music that was being played was "radio1" garage and it was full of little boys and girls that couldnt have been older than 16. The rudest looking person in there was Alister hehehe. I wandered back downstairs and sat around for a bit until the last set.

Andy and Swift!!! What a fucking blinder. Both are two of my top djs and they played a classic set. Really nasty and raw. I swear I saw people fucking bouncing off the walls hehe. Skibba Fearless and Shabba were still on the mics up until about half way through and then shabba left. The venue was rammed right up until the end of this set, and then suddenly it was 2am and time to leave. By this time I was fucking knackered as id done it without the little ones this time and probably would have died if id stayed dancing any longer.

All in all a fucking impressive night, with fucking brilliant music and production!
