First of all I'd like to congratulate Al & Boony for another top night at Resistance. I don't think I've been to one that wasn't excellent yet and I've only missed but a few. I got in before it started as usual and set up my gear for recording. First up was Rob Noize & Dark Angel back to back, they played a good nasty new school set which went down well with the few diehards that were there as soon as the door opened. Gunter Saxenhammer (Mike) took to the decks next and blasted out his usual brand of evil hardcore as the middle floor began to fill up nicely. The next DJ was the scary looking Primal-T, I thought that he only played acid techno but I was proved wrong as he played a wicked gabber set. I think it was Scott Brown that was next. He played a top new school set as expected, this was my favourite set of the night. Scott always manages to play the tunes that everyone wants to hear.....the crowd goes wild. Dr Macbre played a live PA from his mixing desk and laptop, wasn't half bad for a one man show, wicked tunes "theeeeeereeee heeeeeeeerre ! " nice one from the Frenchman. Last but not least Loftgroover stepped up and played an old Rotterdam set then near the end blasted out what he's known best for, speedcore, oh yes it was fast ! Overall it was a good night, another one. Resistance always manages a top party atmosphere and thats why I keep going back. I'm looking forward to the Australian Bloody Fist Tour to see the likes of Mark N, Nasenbluten and to be playing along side Haston at the next Resistance on the 10th August. Should be another shit hot night. Anyway, I record all the sets at Resistance for Al & Boony and I've made some Real Audio of the DJs & acts in the middle floor for those that are interested.
