Well having got completely rat arsed the previous night myself, Stevie Junior and Birdzee looked forward to a night of Brockin at Sub-Tub. However...... first we had to navigate our way safely through Chris Pillings farewell party as he soon departs to Brighton Uni. And wot a fantastic party it was. Full of hunnies, free beer and most importantly dope. A fantastic party it was.....however at 11.00 it was time for us to leave and get on the bus to Manchester city centre. We were down in town by 11.40 and found the venue after 15 minutes. No search.....Manchester really does set high standards for security politeness. Signed up for membership with DJ Craze, just awaiting us on the 2nd of October. Went down a flight of step and were confronted by a room about the size of the House arena at bowlers. Johnny K was laying down some hot hip hop....... got the crowd movin well. After finding the bar and the cloak room we walked around the venue, which was crampped but cosy. A skate ramp was keeping a huge crowd despite the immminent arrival of Grooverider. 2:30 came and the great man himself had arrived. He started of brilliantly playing as ever the newest choons going. He started off hard, everyone got into this. Before slowly moving to liquid funk with choons like 'Up all Night', 'Space Invaderz' and 'Midnight'. He slowly went harder again dropping 'Body Rock' before playin a choon with the most throbbing bass line I have ever heard. It showed the excellence of the system. So at 2:15 we left and returned to the party to be greeted with a huge fight.....fantastic. I went to sleep and now here i am. Big shouts to Stevie Junior, Birdzee, Chris and Eddie good luck to you both, Louise, Kate, Lauren and BECKY FOR BEING PARTICULARLY ENTERTAINING, and Adam ashman for being a great host.
