This year, we decided to go to something a bit different, so we ended up going to a secret rave.. raving in its true sense ;) We managed to get the street name at about 7 oclock, and luckily it was in Hackney (not too far)... the venue was to be a disused warehouse, encompassing a couple of buildings, and a large outside garden. Ticket price was 10 quid, and inside the place water was about 50p - so lovely not to be ripped off by greedy promoters! There were two arenas, each must have held at least 500 - 1000 people. Outside, they had set up a bonfire, which we ended up spending alot of the night sat around (lovely and warm). - We were also quiet welcome to rip parts of the decaying building down to help feed the bonfire! The atmosphere was perfect. There were no cunting security, no fuckwit beerboys, no cctv watching us... The freedom to skin up without fear of expulsion and physical harm! There were no queues, and toilets were easily available.. All in all...... I had a fantastic night, and feel pleased I didnt have to mission it back from Skegness, or end up in the sanctuary as usual...
