Well, i got there and went to the meet up, met all the ush lot, and then moseyed onto Elation ! I was looking forward to this night, and hoped it was going to live up to past partys ! Well i got inside at about 10:15 and the place looked very underground, and had a nice feel to it. But to be honest, i hated it, its small and really narrow too, but i was determined not to let that spoil my night ! Up on the dex was the one like Tom U4EA dropping some classic tracks, and warming up the crowd nicely!! I do enjoy Tom's sets, and this was probably my favourite one i've heard to date ! After Tom was DJ Wizbit, id never herd him before, but i knew he had a reputation of playing breakz, and being good....he did not disappoint! He played a nice mix of breakz, and a fair share of 4/4 as well, he also dropped Uplifts new tune, Faces of angels and my fav freeform tune Take me up !!! which is wicked! :) After that was the sound behind Raw Elements, the pioneers of the label, Miss manic and Uplift ! I was looking extra forward to this set, as new material is always good to hear, and I was again, not disappointed! They played a fair bit of there material, whilst playing other stuff from Raver baby, Hectech and Next generation ! They were dropping such tunes like Burn Baby burn, your my fantasy, No alternative, Deep inside (not the best remix tho). I loved this set, and it really got me buzzing!!! Well....special guests were to take control, and i saw a group of 4 people with masks on, and with all the hype on the board, it seemed only fitting that the special guests were to be CLSM ! I was happy they were the guests, although i was very disappointed it wasn’t the Blaze live PA, as i was looking forward to that most ! Never the less, their set was good. They played a kind of hard energy / freeform with a very trancey element ! Very interesting...I’m sure people will be watching them closely in the future.... After CLSM it was the turn of the promoters to once again tear the dancefloor up and get everyone jumping. HB and ponder, a set i always look forward too. They played lots of new material, and had the help of Elmo on the mic, who may i add was outstanding on the night ! :) They dropped tunes like Turn up the music, DOKS new one and Faces of angels (again). After the promoters was the don himself....LUNA C !! Definitely my set of the night, and well...need i say more then LUNA C?? Surely not! :) He started off with some 94/5 classics such as You had it, Everybody’s free (which ripped the floor completely). Then moved onto some DnB style with Ready or not, and Super sharp shooter (which also tore the house down). Then he moved onto some classic hardcore and he dropped Shooting star, Let it be, and Elysium (about 3 times) and that really hyped everyone up !! After Luna C was the sounds of DJ Sy, representing the sounds of Quosh with Storm on the mic, and when Storm turned up i knew the party was getting turned up a notch also ! He started off with some lesser known tunes, then dropped tunes like Elysium, Come on, Power of love, Break of dawn ! At this point, i was possibly taken on my last rush of the night, as it really did work to the core ! Wicked set as usual though from our beloved Sy! :) I wish i had some more energy in me for the final set by the one and only SHARKEY !! As i loved his set, he dropped the usual freeform tracks and got the party rocking ! Respect Sharksta! :) Overall it was a wicked night, Res laser was tops as usual, the back drops were nice, and the atmosphere was the usual Elation type - WICKED! It wasn’t overly packed, but was packed nicely....I’m not to keen on the Electroworkz, but it was still a top night! Shout outs too.... The Elation crew, and DJs/MCs - Astraboy, sweetstar, DOK, Kev, paul W, grobsta, jensta, kelly, nicola, mayhem, mark, rob saffire, freefall, paul, neotech, chedda, marshy and the bird he was with, Nitr8, Icekold, chrissy and steve, desire, Sam, i-wolf, rizla dizla, hattrixx, fanny-C, duraspice, tombola, caine, jo, dusty vixen, wildcard, elmo, phick and billybass, soph, lloyd, carlo and nick, and ermmm anyone and everyone else that was there !
