Well, at the last minute I decided to goto the Go Mental party @ 4 aces, met up with Smithers, got well lost but ended up getting into the club at 2 ish (?) - anyway, wicked night - the turnout was good, and the music was excellent, someone upstairs was playing all the happy hardcore anthems, wicked!. anyway, Vibes set was pretty cheesy, and he had the nerve to drop a speed garage tune right in the middle - obviously it didnt go down well at all!! boooo Got to about 5am and there was an announcement saying that it was going onto 10am - woo hoo - got to about 6 and most people had left, there were probably only a few dozen people left, anyway, Kev, (Energy) came on playing some trancecore - I must say it was the best set ever, as it got onto 7 he moved onto pure trance, amazing - anyway by this time practically everyone had gone home, but there was me and kev dancing all by ourselves :) - I think it went onto about half 8, as by this time there was literally only 4 or 5 people left in the entire club : Anyway - It must have been the unluckiest day ever, we managed to get mugged, spend ages in some tiny little interview room on a fat speed come down, wait for trains that didnt turn up, get on the wrong buses, got lost, and to top it off had several confrontations with seriously mentally ill people : anyway, finally got home. whooo Anyway - It was a wicked night - and it was excellent to see new people holding events - it achieved a great atmosphere..... to top it off kev and jonny were personally thanking everyone for supporting them - and they even gave out oranges at the end - I just think its all these little things which really make it good. - all done for ravers and not for the money, super!
