Slammin' Vinyl on friday night was pretty kick ass... although I have to say that you UK kids do not understand the bass. :-P Sound quality at Baglys was horrible. But the lighting was wicked, fucking incredible. DJs were good... that SL2 set made the night. The vibe was a little off compared to what I'm used to in the states, but that may be more due to the size of the party as US mega-raves are usually a bit cold compared to smaller parties as well. Oh and it sucked to hear songs repeated... that Toytown remix at least 3 times... twice in the space of an hour. No wonder you UK folks got so tired of Heart of Gold... would piss me off to hear it every other song as well. UK folks aren't quite as friendly as stateside ravers... I was there for a couple hours before anyone was in the least bit outgoing, but turns out that person was Caine so he got me all sorted out as to meet-ups and such and was generally just a coolio guy. Thanks man... I don't care what anyone else says, you're all-right in my book! Shout outs also go out to Pete and Sarah for dragging me around everywhere. Let's see... met tons of other happy listers... Janet, Charmy, Joe Retro... I'm sure there's others, but I'm shit at remembering names... if you saw me and I didn't write your name in then just stick yourself on the end of the list.
