It was my first Helter, having had problems with the scene in the past...but now I'm converted totally... I arrived sober, which didn't last for long. I stayed mostly in the Rollers and the Technodrome all night which were immense. They had the sound levels about right...I heard nothing but whistles and bass for 3 days afterwards. I had also been waiting for Hixxy and Dougal...I had been wishing they'd be doing seperate sets but in they end they were wicked. Seduction was fucking brilliant, but maybe that's because at that point I was coming up on my 3rd pill....but I loved it. Sy and Slipmatt were also great...although sharkey disappointed somewhat. I was pissed of because by the time Vibes came on I was actually too fucked to to anything but gibber...but I enjoyed just listening! HMS played a wicked set in the technodrome...it was all pretty damn good actually. Only a few whinges...on my way in I thought the searching went way overboard...being a girl and having that done wasn't particularly fun...Security generally were a bit over the top...getting people out of the way involved kicking people in the head...great. The turning off of taps in the ladies was shit...what was that about? Anyway...a great night was had..see you all next time! Hey to Ant...my pilling buddy!!
