Once again Epidemik graced the Oscars venue with its presents. The night went well with both systems sounding nothing less than crisp in both arenas. In the main arena, DJ Magical rinsed a cool selection of tracks starting from about 1994 and slowly moved up through the years. Second on in the main arena was myself, I played old skool for 75% of my set and stepped it up towards the end with a selection of new tracks. After I had played I made a move to the Drum and Bass arena which was fucking rammed with bodies. The whole place was jumping to the sound of DJ Release who was playing a blinder. I wondered back into the main arena where Miss Emotion was playing an up front happy set which had the place moving. I stayed in the main arena to listen to Stompy play a wicked happy anthem set and Vinylgroover play an old skool set. Both DJ's ripped it up and kept the vibe going all night. A quick trip into the Drum and Bass arena to listen to the last set being played by DJ Buck and DJ Dynamic back to back. The arena was still rammed packed and the tunes that Buck and Dynamic were playing took the raver on a trip to the darker side of Drum and Bass, wicked. Once again Grant and Sean put on a wicked show. 30 of my mates went and they all had a blinding time, even if they all looked like vegtables at the end of the night and everyone else seemed to enjoy themselves to. It seems that Epidemik is going from strength to strength, Grant and Sean are looking to put more events on for the ravers, including the very best top DJ's and a selection of the best up and coming talent. Big respect to the security who did their job well, tight and polite. Big respect to everyone who supports the Epidemik cause and everyone who has helped put this wicked up and coming event on. Stay posted to USH.NET for the date of the next Epidemik, for all those who wish to give it a go, it is a worth while trip for a wicked night out. Shouts - Buck, Dynamic, Jamie, Anne, Shades, Stompy, Smithers, Jake, steve, Grant, Sean, George Doors, Carl and Butt(z).
